Mufazzil Ali Primary Free Medical Centre, founded in the name of the father of Mr. Abdul Wadud Sahib, a UK expatriate, has been working tirelessly for the past 16 years to serve the neglected, distressed and helpless people of the society with 20 projects. This centre is not only a free medical centre, it is a humanitarian organisation which is playing a leading role in improving the quality of life of helpless people in various fields of life. Md. Abdul Wadud, Founder and Managing Director, constantly inquires about the centre from far away UK and provides guidance. The people of the area respect his tireless work and humanitarian organisation.

About the Author:
Mokon Miah earned a Master of Arts with Merit in International Relations from Queen Mary University of London. His research interests include Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship. Mokon Miah is a college lecturer at a private college in London and a contributing writer.

In every second many people left the world forever leaving no trails behind to make him memorable among living ones. This is because he was self-centric and did not do any altruistic work for society. There are some people who dedicate their life for the betterment of society at large and remain ineffaceable. The initiatives of doing good things for people most often starts from one's own community.

Mufazzil Ali Primary Free Medical Centre is such as a laudatory initiative taken by a man of heart Mr. Md. Abdul Wadud who established it in 2009 in his locality to change the life of deprived humanity. It now serving community in divergent ways and increasing its freebee services categories based on demand of deprived community. Among local people in Galapgonj, Sylhet; it has long been summoned as "Light House of Humanity".

Mufazzil Ali Primary Free Medical Center is actually changing the lives of distressed people, especially women, children and old people who are highly vulnerable to alienation. 'Helping' and 'changing life' paupers is not the same. Helping is a short term concept where a destitute may get relief for a small time like - one feeds a hungry beggar which may help him to get relief from excruciating pain of hunger but the next day he remains beggar again. But changing people's lives drastically reduces poverty and gives him a quality life. For example take the first case if the man instead of feeding the beggar helps him by buying an auto-rickshaw then the beggar will not remain starved in the next days.

Trailblazing initiative taken by this social welfare centre are:

Child education
Child rejuvenation center where child learn through playing
Housing building for poor
Women Empowerment through distributing sewing machine to women who can sew garments and sell in their locality
Pension scheme for senile people whose are alienated or cast aside by their closures
Free medical consultation and medicine for poor
Breastfeeding centre for women

Besides these routine activities the centre came up with many innovative methods to ameliorate society through areas where no-one ever served before.

Md. Abdul Wadud although residing in the UK is always submerged in thinking and finds ways to reach unserved parts of society; serving of which might have an enormous positive impact in the long run. He 24/7 monitors the services of this centre to make it better and ensure six sigma quality service to the poor. He need not expect any return for all that; only expect poor quality of life poor in his locality get changed.

I wish Bangladesh might have thousands of such empathetic and benevolent people to change it to a place where anybody will not be left deprived and everyone will care for others. Mr. Md. Abdul Wadud you will remain evergreen in heart of every poor and people of great sanctity who know how relentless you are to help people through changing their lives.

Mufazzil Ali Free Medical Centre grateful and appreciated. Huge thank you to Mr. K. Rahman from village Bagirgat, Sylhet, Bangladesh (now settled and residing in Dhaka).

This Institution will be an instance of pioneer and pathfinder of "The humanity to the distressed people" of not only a pride of Sylhet but also a pride for the nation. The activities performed so far and the sevice provided from the Free Medical Centre will be written in the future in golden alphabet. All the great works start with small initiative. I became astonished to observe that the key person is always boast and gearup the strategy to improve the service of the centre. The service to the footstep of the people who have still no means to eat three times even with full content. I myself am great well wisher our "Light House" of Kushiyara River belt. I am now 70 though I have still wish if Allah give me the opportunity to serve the centre physically or mentally if not financially. It is an incredible instance of the Director who deserve the greatness. I finally congratulate the doctor Staff and all the well wishers of the organisation. Thank you everybody.
